Dear precious brother Mark Queen, I thank you for your question.
I am not the type who likes to go around attacking people and most especially 'stamping' man and woman of God with 'hateful' titles like this person David Stewart!
I am not going to say any evil against him, but any one who has the true Spirit of Christ in Him and have come to understand the importance of walking in Love, they would quickly discearn that his way of accusing man and woman of God (irrispective of denominational background) is completely not of God, nor does is reflect the heart of Jesus.
Many have told me that I should answer answer his accusations against Nations for Christ.
May I point out that I am not the only one that have been 'shot at' and slandred by David Stewart. Along side myself, Mr.Stewart have accused in a most hatefull way, people like the Roman Chatolic Pope, Ministers of the Gospel like Benny Hinn, John MacArthur, Ray Comfort, Paul Washer, Moody Bible Institute today, etc... all I have to say is that this dear man is decieved and for his own sake he is stepping on very dangerous ground. No matter how you put it, he is doing a grave mistake playing 'God' and making himself judge over others, whom God has called, redeemed by His blood and anointed by His Holy Spirit. By doing this he is removing God off from His throne, Who repeatedly makes it clear that He is THE ONLY ONE JUDGE of all mankind and for sure HE IS THE ONLY JUDGE OF HIS BOND SERVANTS! “Who are you to judge another's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand…But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written: "As I live, says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God." So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother's way.”
(Romans 14:3-5, 10-13) NKJV.
James 4:11-12, “Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you-who are you to judge your neighbour?
Matthew 7:1-3, “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”
David J. Stewart is clearly violating the above scriptures in every sense. Who am I and all the other ministers that he is slandering and calling hateful names? Did he die for us? Did he redeem us with his blood? Did he die and rise from the dead? No, no, no and obviously no!
(I must admit that 'humanly speaking' I felt rather honoured that I have been placed in the same platform and attacked with such great man and woman of God, who are bearing much good fruit for the Kingdom, in spite of the fact that they are not perfect! Who is?)
Against what I would normally prefer to do, all I have to say is here are some articles that other ministries have written about David Stewart:http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/hereticDavidJStewart.htm http://www.blogcatalog.com/blog/david-j-stewart-exposed http://cystinuriaclearinghouse.com/IStandAgainstStewart.html
The unfortunate thing is that people like David J.Stewart, whether they realise it or not, they are doing much more harm than good to the Body of Christ. They are doing something that God never commissioned them to do.
The only time where the Apostle Paul mentions judging those in the church, is where he was clearly talking about those rebellious Christians who were under his Apostleship (people that he was overseeing), and even that, it was done with the purpose to restore not to destroy and cut that person (whom Jesus died for) apart, slander and accuse falsely. That is why David J. Stewart and others like him, are doing a great disfavor to the body of Christ instead of labour for the building up of the Body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 5-6)
What is David J. Stewart going to tell Jesus on the day of Judgment? That he was helping out Jesus building His church and making sure that nothing escaped His notice? Is D.J. Stward going to tell Jesus Christ that He surely could use his (David's expertise) of scripture with a special emphasis on the spirit of building up one another in the spirit of love? (Ephesians 4:16)
Very often they do it because they are stirred up with jealousy for the person they are criticising, which is a real pity. The pharisees grieved the heart of Jesus and these people still grieve the heart of the Lord to this day. (Mark 3:5)
If people like David J.Stewart want to go around slandering man and woman of God, whom God anointed, than let them do so. After all, they did it to Jesus and Jesus Himself told us that They will do it to His servants as well. They will always be around.
The funny thing is that they keep using the scripture to attack shephers in pulpits and who are doing a great work for the Lord and calling them 'wolves in sheep's clothing'
Hello! Did you not notice? Dear precious friends, these people, like David J.Stewart are not realising that God is exposing them not the people they are attacking, because Jesus made it very clear, that false teachers and false prophets come in sheep's clothing...NOT IN SHPHERD'S CLOTHING!
That is why this precious man David (precious, beacuse Jesus died for him too and I know that the Lord Loves Him as a human being) had kept his identity a mystery. True man and woman of God speak in the light and in the open not in a hidden identity (not that it makes any difference to me personally).(Matthew 7:15)
It is for this reason that Jesus said that it is the foxes that spoil the vine not the vinedressers!!!!
Matthew 7:1-3, “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.” (NKJV).
1 Chronicles 16:22/ Psalm 105:15, “Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” (KJV)
Unfortunately some Christians (including some leaders) have felt this unholy 'calling' to slander and accuse and judge man and woman of God and think that there is some special calling in The Bible of being a 'Policeman of the Body of Christ'.
We are clearly called to judge and discearn right Biblical teachings from wrong teachings but we are never to judge the person/s. (See 1 John 4:1-2, 1 Thessalonians 5:21)
May God truly touch the heart of David Stewart and may He experience the overwhelming love of The Risen Savior!
May God bless David Stewart and may the Love of Christ truly flood his heart, for only than can he truly know that fullness of Christ and His Word! (Ephesians 3:14-21).
I pray that if he is so eager to see the body of Christ grow and be protected from false teachers, he will spend at the very least doing as much time praying on his knees for the people that he spent so much time accusing and slandering. May he realise that with his writings he can be serving as a stumbling block and an offense to young people in Christ, as his articles, unfortunately, do not communicate love nor minister grace to the readers, but rather are filled with so much hate and poison.
(A word to young Christians)
If any young Christian is reading this article I want to encourage you by letting you know that the majority of genuine Christians do not have this kind of attitude to slander, judge and falsely accuse other brothers and sisters. This is not the heart of Jesus or of His true followers. As for you, just keep your eyes on Jesus and pray for those who hurt you and call you all kinds of unkind names. Just remember how your Lord and Savior was treated. It is Him whom you must serve and give an answer to one day! The love of God and His Spirit will guide you to the right group of Christians, where the spirit of truth and love equally exist together. (Ephesians 4: 15-16).
I personally wish David J. Stewart no harm but rather that he will truly and more deeply experience the love and mercy of My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is what My Lord told me to do with those who acccuse me and call me all kinds of unkind names! (Matthew 5)
Blessings in Jesus name,
Gordon-John Manche (Ephesians 3:8).
