HELL: You don't want to go there!
HELL: You don't want to go there!
What you are about to read is not an opinion of a man or woman. It is not a collection of mythological stories gathered from hearsay. This article is full of teachings gathered from God’s Holy Word-The Bible.

Before one can recognize the truth one has to first love the Truth (2Thessalonians 1:10) so when he or she sees it, he/she can recognize it! Jesus said that He is THE TRUTH and that His Word is THE TRUTH! (John 14:6, John 17:17) He also said that His Word and Himself are one and the same! (John 1; 1, 14) Let me remind you that truth is not respecter of persons. It is the same truth to all. Whether you are black, white, European, American, Asian, or African, Bible Truth is the same to all. Bible truth is the same to the poor and the rich; the highly educated and the less educated.

If you are a Bible believer than you will find that these truths are what one should govern his/ her life by regardless of whether it is nice or ugly; whether it is hard or easy; whether it is blunt and straight forward or not!

Whether you believe the Bible or not what you will read will change you for ever! How, is totally up to you! The sun shines the same on every one; it melts the wax but it hardens the clay! How you react toward what you will read will reveal more what is in your heart rather than what is in the article!

God loves you more than you can ever imagine but you will have to accept that Love in order to benefit from it!
As you read this article may the Holy Spirit however over you with His love and Truth and may you receive the truths of what great lengths The Father has gone to in order that you will never have to go to an Eternal damnation and Hell!

“This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners..,” 1 Tim 1:15
”For God[The Father] so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son [Jesus], that whoever believes in Him should not perish (and be dammed; go to Hell) but have everlasting life (and go to Heaven). For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him (Jesus Christ)”. John 3:16-17

Every day I come across many precious people who in the depths of their hearts have a hunger to know the truth concerning eternity. Does Heaven, the promise of a better life of ultimate peace and harmony really exist? And, if there is a real eternal reward for the just and righteous, for those who follow the Lord Jesus as the Bible promises, does the reality of HELL, the place of eternal torment and terror in the place where you will be for ever separated from God and other loved ones who may already be there, also exist?

Before I expound on this teaching I want you to know what I used to think about it from a natural common-sense point of view before I had learned what the teachings of Christ really are. Before I had decided to let the Word of God form my beliefs (apart from culture and traditional influences) I used to say this to my self and to all those that I came across, “Whether there is a true Hell or not after this life, one thing I know for sure; ‘I don’t want to go there’. I don’t want to find out after I die when it is too late to do any thing about it!”

Many of us were brought up being taught that we inherited the nature of sin (whether we like it or not) the moment we were born into this world. That was and is still true! (Romans 5: 12-17, Romans 3:23) I may argue as much as I want to with that idea but now I have become convinced by that reality when I look at the wrongs I was committing in my life. When I took an honest look inside myself I had to acknowledge that I was a sinner and much of what drove me in my life was very much motivated by pure selfishness and self achievement! This in itself and by itself is the epitome of sin! Selfishness is the very root of every sin I ever committed and still commit if I do not be careful! The passage that clearly mentions this is:
“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man (Adam), and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.” (Romans 5:12)

Adam passed on the sin nature to us, however, we are condemned not only because we have the sin nature and because of what we inherited, but because we have also acted upon it: death came to all men, because all sinned, and they sinned willfully! Whether you believe in the original sin or not it is some what irrelevant at this point. The moment you sinned you proved it right! After all we sin because we are sinners not we are sinners because we sin! Hell is for people who deserve it through their “own” sins, as well as the original inherited Adamic sin! Adam simply passed on the inclination and ability to sin or what is called the "sin nature".

Many times this happened even at the careless thought of whether I was hurting any one or not. As long as I was happy I didn’t care what others felt. Just a simple example was for instance when I stood in lines or queues to wait for the bus or to buy something. I pushed myself ahead of every one else in front of me, couldn’t care less whether or not they were there before me, whether one needed to go ahead of me because he/she genuinely needed urgent assistance or not!

Today because Christ made me a new creature (2Corinthians 5; 17) I have been changed completely while daily I keep growing in my walk with Christ. I daily make a conscious choice to let Jesus be LORD of and on my life! (Ref: Romans 13:14, 1 Corinthians 9:27, Ephesians 4:24, Colossians 3: 1-11 etc...). When I sin now a days I remind myself of His Word in 1 John 1:9 where it says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness”. NIV

I want to tell you about a story about how I know that Hell exists for sure. It happened to me personally when I was around the age of 7(seven years). We used to have a spare bed room under the stair case going up to the first floor where we all used to have our individual bed rooms.

This was the first time that I remember having the first divine supernatural encounter in my life. It was just another regular day. If any one would have told me what was going to happen to me I would have laughed at him as much as any one could have told me that I was going to be on the moon. I was not praying or thinking any thing about God.

While I was alone in this spare bed room all of a sudden I had a vision in which I saw terrible things that left me terrified for many days and have left an impact on me that changed the course of my life forever. I saw this vision for the next consecutive two nights, three nights all together.

I became terrified cause as you can imagine apart from that I was not expecting this to happen to me. I was also just a small 7 years old child. I cried for several days after this. Still after many years that this happened to me some times when that same sensation of what I saw that day comes back I cry again because I would not wish for even my worst enemy to go there!

I remember seeing a hill or a cliff with a valley beneath it. In that valley I clearly saw, flames of fire burning. I also remember vividly seeing many people burning in it and multitudes of people being pushed and shoved helplessly into this valley of burning flames where I could also hear screams of terror.
I had never seen any thing of what I saw in that vision in any movie in my life before than or after!

At that time I was not a Christian yet and I had very little knowledge and understanding of the God of the Bible or Heaven and Hell.

Oh my friend how I cried and how I know today nobody can convince me that Hell is just fiction or not real.

At that same time with tears in my eyes a great compassion came over me and prayed that some day the Lord will use me in some way to alert people not to go to that place. I had prayed, “God, forgive me of my sin. I am sorry Lord.” Than I remember praying to Him from the depths of my heart as I knew than, “Lord, don’t let those people go to that place. If it is possible deliver them from that terror. Let me go in their stead if you promise me to deliver them. I will go in their place, at least only one will be lost but the rest will be saved.” (At this point of my life I had never heard or understood that, that the reason why Jesus came into this world was to be my substitute, not mine only but to all those who put their trust in Him as Lord and Savior (. He was the only one who could take our place Isaiah 53:11). I had found out that Moses prayed a similar prayer in Exodus 32:32 and St. Paul the Apostle also prayed a similar prayer in Romans 9:1-3 and finally I knew that Jesus also prayed it with the only difference that He fulfilled it!” Hell is Here!!
(Excerpt from Born From Above. Second print, Chapter 12: pg 70)
HELL IS REAL. IT IS HERE! I TASTED IT!

>I guess that what I have heard many times from people everywhere, that “heaven and hell are in this world,” is true to some extent. I do believe that there is a literal heaven and a literal hell after this present life (Matthew 25:41; 2 Peter 2:4; Revelation 20:13, 14; Revelation 21:8; Mark 9:48; Psalm 9:17). As the Bible says, however, without Christ in your life you are already partaking of the life that is in hell, and with Jesus in your life you are already partaking of the life that is in heaven!

When I was living in sin and living for the devil I was already experiencing hell (Ephesians 2:1-3). Now I am living for Christ and I am experiencing heaven!

Going through life without Jesus was certainly hell for me, but those days are gone forever! Hallelujah! Let me assure you that regardless of how hard you may have had it here in this life; hell is not here, even though you may feel like you have been going through it.
The hell that the Holy Bible talks about is something that you stay in for all eternity. You don’t just “go through it”; you are stuck there forever.

My beloved friend, Eternal Hell is not in this World. It is not just some fiction story! It is a real place and many are they that end up there. Those are the very words of Jesus Christ Himself!
"Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate! The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough for all the multitudes who choose its easy way. But the Gateway to Life is small, and the road is narrow, And only a few ever find it." TLB.
(Matthew 7: 13-14)

Before I go on telling you from the Holy Scriptures what Hell is and who goes there and what is it like I want to share a true testimony of one who had a sneak ‘unexpected’ pre-view of Hell, but God in His great mercy gave him another chance!

A true testimony of one who died and came back!

(Excerpt taken from Born From Above. Second print, Chapter 13: pg 72-75)

>Let me share this story with you to show you how wonderful the Lord Jesus is and how He can use a willing vessel when it is yielded and available in the Master’s hand. (That can be even you my beloved friend) I remember it was the summer of 2000. I had just finished ministering in a church.

I had just finished encouraging the people of God to share the divine love of God with people they meet from day to day; people who are hurting and need a touch from the Lord. It was a wonderful service and some even gave their life to Jesus and others testified of having received healing in their body. After the service was over and the majority of the people had left back to their homes, I was invited with the pastor and other Christians to an afternoon barbeque out side as it was a hot day that day.

We were all having a wonderful time together sharing testimonies about what the Lord was doing because of His unfailing love toward them in many ways. We had plenty to eat as there was abundance of food available. At the house where we were invited, there were some children playing in a swimming pool and splashing water at each other. A man was playing with them in the pool. I was later informed that man, whom I shall call 'Tony' for this story, did not swim too well, although he had always wanted to learn. He had just finished eating a large meal. ‘Tony’ was joking around with the children in the pool and at one point he tried swimming across the pool reasoning to himself that it was not that long to cross from one side to the other. He took a risk and tried to swim across. Unfortunately, he had forgotten that he had just eaten, he was not trained in swimming, and the pool was very deep at the other side.

At one point ‘Tony’ could not swim any further and the children saw him struggling to keep afloat. They thought that he was kidding around so they did not take him seriously. Suddenly, he disappeared under the water and drowned.
A child started screaming and calling all those around, pointing with his finger that ‘Tony’ has just gone to the bottom of the pool. Two older men jumped in the pool in panic to pick him up only to find that ‘Tony’ was completely unconscious. Everyone panicked and screamed in terror as they all witnessed together the passing away of a young man’s life in front of their very eyes.

I remember clearly, feeling an unnatural sensation as if a shower of liquid, like honey, was poured upon me as I walked toward to unconscious dead body. It seemed as if every one around me was in ‘freeze mode’ while I knelt near ‘Tony’s body. I assisted him and turned him onto his back and prayed over his lifeless body.

I checked his breathing and his pulse to discover that there was no movement. I remember that as soon as I laid my hands on his head and body I could literally feel a supernatural hand was laid upon mine (Acts 19:11).

I commanded in the name of Jesus Christ, in authority and boldness, for his spirit to return to his body. The young man was terrified as he returned back to his body.

The Lord had led me to lay my hands on his dead body and pray for him, to rebuke the spirit of death off of him and command his spirit to return to his body.

Immediately, he came back to life, yet was terrified and asked, “Where am I?” During my visit to hospital he told the pastor and I that he had died. His spirit had come out of his body and saw everyone panicking and trying to raise him up by natural means. He saw his own body lying on the concrete floor near the pool, when instantly he was sucked down by what felt like a huge vacuum. He saw himself going down to a great thick darkness, descending down and down at great speed. He felt terror in his spirit as he knew he was going to a terrible place. He saw himself going to hell!

He then recalls that suddenly he heard a voice cry out, “In the name of Jesus come back,” and that is when some strong mighty power sucked him back into his body in an instant and he began breathing again.

He thanked the Lord that he was given another chance to live and this time he would live for God. His testimony alone makes me believe that there is a hell and how happy are those who have put their faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, because they will never have to go there! What a wonderful Jesus we serve! (Death is conquered through Christ: Matthew 10:8 Romans 6:9/ 8:37-39). <
1-Who goes to hell?

No 1. MAIN REASON WHY MANY WILL GO TO HELL!

I wish I can tell you that no one is going to hell! I am sure that many wish I can tell them that only those that murder or rape or molest children or are involved with killing innocent lives with terrorism and wars are going to Hell!

When I started reading the Bible I found out that there are a lot of people that are going to hell and even scarier I discovered that I was one of them as well up to 1ST June of 1995! That is when I made a conscious choice to follow Christ and receive Him in My Life as my personal Lord and Savior!

I did not murder or steal any thing from any one or even abuse any one! I didn’t do any think that in my estimation and in my own understanding I deserve to be committed to an eternal Hell of terror and unceasing pain!

I found out that I was going to hell because I was trusting in my own strength to be saved and go to Heaven one day. I was making myself my own ‘god’ and trusting that I was going to be able to save my soul by my good righteous acts. This is the number one reason why the majority will go to Hell!
“For all of us have become like one who is unclean,
And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment;
And all of us wither like a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away”
NASU Isaiah 64:6

Salvation is not by your own strength or good merits! No one is going to manipulate God by their own efforts or by how much money they leave to the poor or to their church after they die! I am not advocating that giving money to be blessing to whom ever God puts on your heart is bad or wrong but why and how we do it makes all the difference. (1Timothy 6:3-21) Heaven is not for sale and Hell is very expensive: It costed God His own Son’s Life!

“I am not one of those who treat Christ's death as meaningless. For if we could be saved by keeping Jewish laws [traditions], then there was no need for Christ to die”. TLB Galatians 2:21

“I do not frustrate (nullify) the grace of God: for if righteousness came by the law [traditions or just doing good works], then Christ is dead in vain”. KJV Galatians 2:21.

I was being my own Savior but the Bible clearly tells us the Words of Christ that He is the Only Savior and no one can be saved if he or she does not go through Him!
“Jesus said to him, "I am THE way, and THE truth, and THE life;
No one comes to the Father, but through Me”.
NAS John 14:6

Jesus is not just a truth or a way, He is THE TRUTH AND THE WAY! No one is going to change that!

“There is salvation in no one else! Under all heaven there is no other name for men to call upon to save them." TLB Acts 4:12

I found out that the thing I was going to miss by trusting Jesus Christ as my PERSONAL Savior and Lord is HELL! I didn’t mind that!

“For by grace (God’s unmerited and underserved favor toward you) you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast”. NAS Ephesians 2:8-9

“Because of His kindness, you have been saved through trusting Christ. And even trusting is not of yourselves; it [faith] too is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good we have done, so none of us can take any credit for it”. TLB Ephesians 2:8-9
Since God is Holy and He demands Holiness and His standards are far higher than ours; so therefore without Christ, the scriptures show that no sinner can truly live holy and thus avoid hell.
Peter the apostle makes an important statement about salvation:
“If it is hard for the righteous [those who have Christ: 2 Corinthians 5:21] to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” (1 Peter 4:18).

This passage shows that it is already difficult (not impossible) for the righteous to be saved, so those who have rejected Christ, which is God’s ONLY way to be saved, will surely find it “impossible” to be saved. With man’s own efforts, salvation is impossible, but with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27).

I do believe in Eternal security for Salvation however I also acknowledge that I cannot treat the blood of Jesus casually after I have received the Truth, that is why Jesus said it is worst for those who knew the truth and than turn away from it( Luke 12:48 etc). As Christians who have been promised Eternal Life through Christ Jesus (1 John 5:11-13) however I also can see in scripture that the Christian still maintains his freedom of Choice after He becomes a Christian. I stared my walk with Christ many years ago but I nourish my walk with Him daily through reading prayer and Bible reading and acting upon what I read!

The Bible clearly shows that there were Christians who abandoned their faith by choice but the good news is that many also renewed their commitment as the Father in His immeasurable mercy gave them another chance! (1Timothy 4; 1, Hebrews 6:4-8/10:26-27, Luke 15, 2 Timothy 2; 12) These things are not impossible with God but they become hard with men!

God is not looking for the least opportunity to condemn you but He is looking for the least opportunity to save you because He loves you passionately and wants you to spend Eternity with Him. The choice is yours my friend!

This alone will cover every area and every person and any one with any background and culture and life style!
It takes only just a little bit of common sense, a humble heart and a child like faith to receive Jesus in to your life! The decision is yours! No use to wait any longer!

2-Who goes to hell?
NO.2 Those who openly reject Christ will go to Hell
"Then He will say to those on His left [goats], 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. (Matt 25:41)
From this statement we can conclude that those who purposely reject Christ and those who have a superficial faith in Christ will go to hell. Jesus called hypocritical believers goats. Real believers are sheep, and they prove that their faith is genuine by their good works they committed willfully. Many religious people think that just because they have ‘a form of godliness’ and have a picture of a face that they named Jesus and put a candle before it every now and than and throw him a kiss they are Christians!
“They will go to church, yes, but they won't really believe anything they hear. Don't be taken in by people like that”. 2 Tim 3:5 TLB

“…having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” NKJV 2 Tim 3:5-6

Being religious is not enough!
My dear beloved friend Christianity is not a religion. Paul the great apostle went to Athens and addressed the people there who were pagans as, “Men of Athens, I observe that you are very religious in all respects…”(Acts 17:22) The apostle Paul went on to proclaim to them the Living and True God! He believed that being religious is not enough to save you for sure other wise he would have just let them continue to be religious! Many well meaning, but misinformed Christians don’t even realize that the word ‘religious’ in itself means,” superstitious, reverence of devils or worship of spirits”. That is one good reason why many true Bible believers don’t like to be called religious!

 Christianity in its purest sense is a relationship (not religion) with the Risen Lord and SAVIOR Jesus Christ via the Holy Spirit!

Christianity without (Holy Spirit) Power is just another social club experience. It is only there to fill pews with people offered a sense of belonging but not aware of how lost they all really are. This power that the Bible talks about is the Power of The Holy Spirit! (Acts 1:8)
Ha ha ha! That is what the devil loves! He loves to give you a false hope and than when you are at your end you will go to hell thinking just because you were religious you should go to heaven!
Many unfortunately only have a religiousised and traditionalized Jesus! Read the book of Acts and compare it to your church where you attend! Does it look like that or does it come close? If not than you are just experiencing man made tradition and religion! You just have a form of godliness but The God of Christ Jesus may be very far away from the church you attend!

Look at the kind of Christianity that the apostles preached and see if your Christianity comes any where close!
“And my speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Holy Spirit and of power, so that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the (Holy Spirit) power of God”. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

Their faith is the same as the devils’! The devil also believes in Jesus. (The devil is definitely in favor of religion).I know this may be challenging to some people, but believe me, I too am challenged by God’s Holy Word. When God says something, my opinion does not count!

“You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder and tremble”. NIV James 2:19
3-Who goes to hell?
No.3 People who do not repent and turn away from their sinful lifestyle!
“The wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that (purposefully) forget God”. NKJV Ps 9:17

“…and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power”..,
NKJV 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9

“And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into
the lake of fire”. NKJV Rev 20:15

“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death”.
NKJV Revelation 21:8

“The King will reply, `I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' Then he will say to those on his left, `Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me”. They also will answer, `Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' He will reply, `I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life”. NIV Matt 25:40-46

“The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear”! NKJV Matt 13:41-43

“And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!” NKJV Matthew 7:23

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God”.
NKJV 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

“Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.
NAS 1 John 3:4-5

“For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them”. NKJV Eph 5:5-7

“For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES”. NASU Hebrews 10:26-27

Dead religion won’t change you but the resurrected, ruling and regning Savior and Lord Jesus does!

“There was a time when some of you were just like that but now your sins are washed away, and you are set apart for God; and He has accepted you because of what the Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of our God have done for you.”
TLB 1 Corinthians 6:11

“And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” NIV 1 Corinthians 6:11

All the above people’s lifestyle were all condemned by God but they were all changed by His love and so I believe you too can change if you let Him! God does not categorize sin as many do.

To Him sin is the same no matter what pet-name you give it!

The good news dear friend is that no matter what sin you were caught up in life God does not magnify one above the other and He is more than able to wash any sin and it’s results when you commit your life in the hand of an awesome God who is also your Father in Christ!

The Role of Satan in this world!

The Devil is constantly seeking to invade our earthly realm to tempt individuals into sinning in order to destroy their peace, joy, marriages, health and ultimately steal their soul!

“…you want to do the desires of your father the devil. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies”. John 8:44

“The thief (Satan) comes only to steal and kill and destroy…” John 10:10

“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”.
James 4:7

“Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith…” 1 Peter 5:8-9

“…lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices”. 2 Corinthians 2:11

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the evil one…therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore…and addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one…”
Ephesians 6:10-14

“And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world…” Revelation 12:9

“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God…You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them [evil spirits], because The One who is in you is Greater than the one who is in the world”. 1 John 4:1-5
Modern pop culture (especially music) often seems to celebrate Satan as a rebellious anti-hero. It is dangerous to pray to Satan or celebrate the Devil! This will bring oppression that can lead into depression which can eventually lead to possession!
Satan is a worthy adversary and we must understand his tactics and schemes. Christians do not need to fear the devil but understanding his schemes and ways will get them the upper hand. Saint Paul encourages us to not be ignorant of the devil’s devises (2 Corinthians 2:11)! The devil wants to be the hero of the day, instead of God, and it appears for some, they would rather serve and honor Satan than God. A little bi of common sense tells me that if I had to choose which army I would join in, it would not be the one that is defeated but the one that is winning. Many dumb and deceived people join Satan thinking that they are going to beat up Jesus one day. Huh, how incredibly dumb! They have not read the Bible where it says that the devil is afraid of hell himself and that Jesus gave him already a BIG whooping (as they say in Texas) and stripped him naked!

“He disarmed [stripped naked of their power], the [demonic] principalities and powers and made a public example of them [to put them to open shame and ridicule], triumphing over them in Him-Christ-and in the cross” Colossians 2:15

Satanists and other socially rebellious people will experience the worse judgment of all.
Jesus called Satan a thief (John 10:10), and a thief prefers not to be recognized. Satan’s greatest feat is the disappearance act. He pretends to not be here, but he really is. He loves it when he hears people say that they don’t believe that the devil exists! They become a perfect prey!
I find it rather humorous as well that many who believe in the existence of God deny the existence of the devil. It is like saying I believe in the existence of light but I do not believe that darkness exists! How foolish that is and purely idiotic!! I am not purposefully trying to be crude and offensive but I am hoping that many who will read this article and it describes them will wake up from their spiritual sleep! The main deception that Satan has pulled off is that he does not exist.

Satan’s work is revealed in these points:

1. He steals-He is a thief!
2. He kills- he is a murderer!
3. He lies-His a liar and the originator of lies!
4. He deceives-He is a dangerous master deceiver!
Jesus is the answer for the high price of our souls’ only hope
Since God’s standards for entering heaven is so high He met the requirements Himself because no one on earth could match the requirements. That is why Jesus, God in the flesh came, to make a way for us and open for us the way into Heaven.

God’s standards are so high that even wrong thoughts and feelings can send one to hell for ever and the Bible proves that and that is why I stress that unless you humbly accept Jesus as your substitute you will have no hope at all for ever! Can souls be condemned to hell for sinful thoughts?

“But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell”. (Matt 5:28-30)

Sin is defined as wrong thoughts or deeds. Obviously deeds are worse, and they sometimes fall in the category of crimes, however, Jesus taught that “anger” was “murder” in the heart.

“Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him”. NIV 1 John 3:15
Lust is adultery of the heart. The “Criminal System” cannot judge thoughts, because they really do not know what the person was thinking. God, however, is all-knowing and will take into consideration our thoughts when it comes to judgment.
Is Hell a literal, physical place?
…YES!
Although many wish that Hell does not exist and it is just some body’s imagination, it does not make it so. If I close my eyes and wish I was superman and can fly does not mean I am going to become superman after I open my eyes. The same is with Hell! You can hope that it does not exist and you can play a child’s game by getting under your bed sheets and hope that it will go away but I promise you that if the Words of Jesus are true (and they are!) than Hell is a real place as much as earth is a real place!

It is a place where people feel and remember things they have done on earth and think still! (Read Luke 16) In Jesus teaching about hell He mentions those in it as being in agony. Consider the story of the rich man who rejected the Word of God through the prophets and the Law (Holy Scriptures) and Lazarus.

“In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side… So he called to him, `Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.' But Abraham replied, `Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. "Abraham replied, `They have Moses and the Prophets;(This means The Holy Bible) let them listen to them.' "`No, father Abraham,' he said, `but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.' "He said to him, `If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.'" Luke 16:23-31 NIV.

Notice carefully what the rich man who rejected the Word of God through Moses and the Prophets (which is synonymous to the Bible) was experiencing!
1. He could feel!
2. He was thirsty!
3. He could see!
4. He could remember!
5. He could reason and think! (Obviously he knew he made a bad choice)
6. He wished that his remaining loved ones on earth that still had a chance to avoid coming there would not join him!
7. He knew that he could never get out of that place!
Nearly everyone has been burnt and has felt the stinging pain and how it continues. So this is the description the Bible uses to show how painful hell really will be and how that pain will never go away.
The Devil is not a symbol! He is a fallen created being and he is full of evil. He is real. He is an angel. Angels are real beings, even though, spiritual beings. Satan was one of three archangels. God would not make the Lake of fire for the devil and his angels if they were not real. You do not make a place of punishment as a symbol.
“…the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels”. (Matt 25:41)
The name Satan means accuser. This name lets us know his primary function. He is always trying to find fault with us and bring condemnation upon us. He will even tempt us so he can find fault with us. He wants us damned with him. Misery loves company!
“I (Jesus) tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life”. (Rev 2:10)
God has a plan to remove him from having any influence upon us. He will throw him into the Lake of Fire when Christ returns. However, he is here to “test us”. A test can either be failed or pass. Upon failure you lose your soul. Upon passing you gain your soul.
“Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ.
For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down”. NIV Rev 12:10

“And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him…” NIV Rev 20:1-3

One of the scariest things is that people, who rejected the good news and substitutionary payment of Jesus for them, will for ever hate themselves that they had an opportunity to escape that terrifying place by humbly accepting Jesus but instead they rejected Him! Earthly life to them will all of a sudden feel like a split of a second compared to a hundred years…multiplied by thousands and thousands of times! Forever!

During one deliverance session, where a person was being freed from the possession of a demon, the demon which was leaving that oppressed person shouted with loud terrifying voice, “No I don’t want to go to Hell”. Wow! If the devil himself does not want to go there, why should you my friend! I have met many foolish people who think that hell is going to be some big on going drunken party filled with everlasting pleasures of sexual indulgence! Wow, they sure are in for a great rude awakening!

“And they (demons) cried out, saying, "What business do we have with each other, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?” NASU Matthew 8:29

Satan is NOT Lord over Hell. God is LORD still!

Demons know that in Hell they will be tormented forever but some very foolish people think that Hell is a big play ground where you can do what you want for ever! Wake up buddy if this is you! This may be your last call!

Hollywood and folk tales have painted inaccurate portraits of Satan, such as someone carrying a pitched fork to poke people in hell or to stoke the fires. The truth is Satan is afraid of hell. It is a place of punishment for him as well as for those who follow him. He is not the warden of hell, but soon to be a prisoner of it.

Some prefer to stick their head in the sand. I ask the question, how important are terrorist groups and activities to people? The likelihood that an individual will be killed by terrorists is very remote; however people want to know about the organization for the purpose of defeating them. Yet Satan, the ultimate terrorist, likely will wreck damage to most people, so why don’t they care about what he is doing?

There are different hells—or different names given to hell—found in different biblical passages!

Darkness is another description of hell even though this seems to be the opposite of fire, for fire gives off light. Jesus describes hell as a place of darkness. Darkness is the absence of light. Light is knowledge. I believe darkness is what you find in prison—ignorance, denial, blame, anger. In hell, people will be blaming others for being there. They will be angry at God for sending them there even though they had all the chance and the choice they wanted. They will protest their being cast into hell. They will never acknowledge the truth, for darkness and ignorance reigns in hell.

The Greek word for hell is geena (gheh'-en-nah). This place was a valley in Jerusalem where some scholars believe that dead corpses were thrown into. So geena is the place of the spiritually dead. Here is another term for hell: “For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons” (2 Peter 2:4)

The Greek word for gloomy dungeons, sometimes translated hell, is tartaroo (tar-tar-o'-o); which means the deepest abyss of Hades. This describes the worse part of hell. There are places in hell worse than others, just like in prison; there are worse places than others. In Dante's Inferno, Dante may have very well been inspired by the Holy Scriptures to give us that picture which is rather close to the truth.

Does God send any one to Hell?

In essence God does not send any one to hell! He has left it totally up to you to choose where you want to spend eternity! As we have been reading He has created Hell for Satan and His angels not for humans, however if you want to go there with them He will let you! He loves you so much that He has made a way of escape if you only choose THE WAY- Jesus!

“I call heaven and earth to witness against you that today I have set before you life or death, blessing or curse. Oh, that you would choose life; that you and your children might live!” TLB Deut 30:19-20

God is so good that incase you do not know what to choose He is also telling you what is best for you and what to Choose! Choose Life, choose Jesus! Jesus is LIFE! (John 14:6)

“As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. For He says, ‘In the time of My Favor (grace) I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.” NIV 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

“Whoever [that’s’ any one] believes and is baptized will be saved [promise], but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” NIV Mark 16:16

Never too late!
If you are reading this article it is not too late! If a sinner sincerely repents and accepts Jesus, he will enter heaven no matter how heinous his sin was! The blood of Jesus is Christ shed for the sin of all mankind is far greater!

Jesus thought anyone who truly repented and turned to Him could be saved. Consider the thief on the cross in his last few minutes of his life just before he would jump into eternity.

“Then he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom’. Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:42-43)

The Bible calls this man a criminal. Yet, his repentance and sorrow was so evident that Jesus promised him eternal life that very day. So it is clear that someone can enter heaven no matter how bad his or her sin may be, if they call on the name of Jesus by faith!
“Working together with him, then, we entreat you, implore you, plead with you and beg you not to accept the grace of God in vain [and reject it].

For He says, ‘At the acceptable time I have listened to you, and helped you on the day of salvation.’ Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation”. 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

Most people will go to hell than go to heaven. This should not surprise us, considering how little Jesus Christ means to people. They say they believe in Him, but only a small percent of the population will even go to church and read the Bible. I think people who claim that are Christians need to really evaluate their lives, and see if they are really serving Jesus Christ or themselves. Unbelievers need to reconsider the claims of Christ. He claimed to be the Messiah and Savior. Either He told the truth or He is the biggest deceiver of all. I choose to believe He is what He claimed to be. I have experienced a changed life as a result of my faith and it is no turning back! It is the best thing I have ever done in my life for all eternity!

“For salvation that comes from trusting Christ-which is what we preach-is already within easy reach of each of us;
in fact, it is as near as our own hearts and mouths.
1. For if you tell others [confess] with your own mouth
2. that Jesus Christ is your Lord
3. and believe in your own heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
4. For it is by believing in his heart that a man becomes right with God;
5. and with his mouth he tells others [confesses] of his faith, confirming his salvation. For the Scriptures tell us that no one who believes in Christ will ever be disappointed. Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect: they all have the same Lord who generously gives his riches to all those who ask him for them.
6. Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved”.
7. Romans 10:8-13
